I met Anne around 12 years ago when she visited her friend, Jeanie Cohen, with companion, Jack Greenblatt. Jeanie's companion was Georges Roizin, a friend of my late parents. I was the young one, watching the four of them play cards at the kitchen table. Anne was articulate, still working, and in the throes of her wonderful life. Dearest Steven, Bobby, Andrew and all who loved Anne (who didn’t!), I was saddened when Carole (Master) advised me of Anne’s passing. She lived a long life with much fun included. I guess we were friends since the early 60’s in DDO and with Leon, Mr. Charming, they made a gorgeous couple on the dance floor. I still make the best eggplant and it is your Mom’s recipe from back then. She was a super cook and we had an abundance of dinners with ‘tout la gang’. I don’t remember ever seeing Anne without that beautiful dimpled smile. She is with your Dad at last and I bet they’re dancing up a storm with Eli.
