Northern Nevada Memorial Day 2024 events, big-name concerts — and one final weekend of skiing (2024)

Brett McGinnessReno Gazette Journal

Northern Nevada is ramping up for the unofficial start to summer with a series of Memorial Day events, along with big-name concerts, pedal boats, a farmers market and the return of the V&T Railroad for 2024.

This coming weekend is also the last chance to say farewell to winter — the Palisades Tahoe ski resort is still open through the weekend thanks to the two feet of snow that fell the first weekend of May.

Here's a look at what's happening in Northern Nevada over the next eight days.
