Sometimes it is a bit difficult to overcome everyday struggles everyone of us knows.

But since I have defined goals I want to reach someday I never stray too far from the original way.

As for my style... I don't have one certain style I always wear.

I like to vary and try new things all the time.

My style is most likely like the weather you could say.

1. Something about your background - roots, interests while growing up, teenage dreams

My Name is Johanna and was born and raised in Germany. While growing up I have always liked being in front of the camera and wearing nice outfits. I also used to design some outfits when I was drawing. And as for my teenage dreams... looking back at my early interests I always wanted to try to model. So I guess it has been a dream of mine all along :)

  1. When did you start to get interested in fashion?

It started at a rather early age. The time I really got into creating my own fashion style was when I was about 10 years old. And ever since then I have been trying out different things and creating different looks.

  1. First modeling experience ?

The first experiences when it comes to modeling were during autumn holidays when I was 13. We went to the Baltic sea and my sister used to take pictures of me. And so did my dad. Ever since then we went out to take some pictures of me posing every once in a while. And of course during holidays. The first experience with a professional photographer was at my aunts wedding in summer 2016. That's when I started having shootings with professionals as well.

  1. Can you compare European and American fashion, from your knowledge? What do you like and what do you dislike.

To me the American and European fashion has got quite a few similarities. A lot of the American fashion can be found in the stores around the area and a lot of people my age like to wear it. In my opinion it also seems that with things becoming more and more international and transparent, thanks to social media and the internet, the fashion styles begin to mix up a bit and aren't 100% typical for one country or the other. Yet there aren't particularly things I like or dislike. Fashion is a kind of art as well so I think there aren't too many restrictions to how people express themselves with what they wear.

  1. When it comes to modeling, are you open to advices from photographers or older models ?

Yes of course. Advices will help my personal growth as a model and a person. Besides it would help me to improve my posing and to gain more knowledge about the industry and profession itself.

  1. Favorite photo sessions ? Style ?

Personally I prefer outdoor shootings, especially since nature has got the prettiest colors and sceneries. With the changing seasons it never gets too hard finding new locations and looks I can wear accordingly. I love to combine the natural settings with my own look to create some unique works. But I also like old buildings and portrait shootings at the studio. I think variety isn't only key when it comes to creating styles but also when it comes to choosing the location. It helps to not only emphasize the different styles, but also the beauty of the seasons and sceneries and to create harmony in a picture.
